SOFTBOX 40x40 170W LED Lamp Set of 2

The applied fitting is a SOFTBOX integrated with an E27 socket, designed for both flash bulbs and constant light bulbs. The bowl with dimensions of 40x40cm is finished inside with silver material. Light is evenly distributed already inside the softbox and maintains identical power across the entire diffuser surface. The exterior of the softbox is matte black, preventing reflection of other lamps' light.

Folding and unfolding is exceptionally simple, and the folded softbox takes up little space. High-quality materials ensure trouble-free operation for years. Designed and manufactured to ensure safe use with fluorescent bulbs.

Variable color temperature is achieved in the bulb through a classic method known from on-camera lamps - by mounting luminescent diode checkerboards of two different color temperatures. This solution has an additional advantage: shifts in the spectrum of individual diodes increase effective color rendering for the entire bulb. Color temperature range from 3600K to 6200K. High luminous efficiency ensures very high luminance at low active power consumption, equivalent to 170-watt bulbs.

LED matrices are protected by a light-diffusing cover (diffuser) with an area of 112cm^2, ensuring pleasant, soft light distribution regardless of intensity. At short distances, the softened light may resemble that of a softbox or beauty dish lamp. The bulb produces very nice, relatively large reflections.

The generated light is continuous without flickering, enabling filming at higher frame rates. The bulb is intended for indoor use, with an IP20 protection class. It is designed for professional applications in photographic studio conditions and not suitable for home use. The bulb housing is not hermetically sealed.

A handy, compact remote control is included with the bulb for convenient operation. The remote communicates with the bulb via an infrared channel. The infrared receiver is mounted under the protective cover, allowing control from the "front" of the bulb. The receiver's sensitivity is high enough to enable operation in closed softbox fittings such as CineGEN.
