Setting up a home photography studio is not an easy task, especially if you're doing it for the first time. The abundance of offers online only makes the decision and purchasing process more complicated. A great solution is the ready-made, complete DELUXStudio™ kit for building your own home photography studio.
Using typical professional solutions is often not feasible in a home setting due to several significant reasons:
- The cost of studio equipment is high
- The location where you work is rented
- After taking photos, the room serves other purposes
- You frequently change the location where you take pictures
CineGEN®, known for producing accessories for film and photography, has addressed the needs of the semi-professional market by creating a set of accessories called Home&Office PhotoStudio. This lightweight and easy-to-use kit is based on the most essential and popular accessories, fulfilling two requirements:
- The components of the kit are as small as possible so that the entire setup can be accommodated in a small room
- The complete kit enables you to take high-quality photos and videos
The white background on the kit allows for separating the model (subject) from any unflattering aspects of the room, while the set of lamps ensures proper exposure.
- Background hanging kit - two tripods with a crossbar create the simplest independent frame that allows you to hang backdrops
- White polypropylene background - the white backdrop is neutral and helps draw maximum attention to the model (subject) in the foreground
- Lighting - complete, ready-to-use lamps provide informative or artistic lighting depending on your needs

One Kit, Many Possibilities
- Semi-professional, low-cost photo and video studio for self-assembly
- Enables you to achieve high-quality photos and videos
DELUXStudio™
The DELUXStudio™ kit has been designed for users based on semi-professional, home studio requirements.
It includes the most important components needed to build a photography studio at home - a background hanging kit, basic backdrop, and lighting. The white backdrop meets the requirements set by authorities (for document photos) as well as online sales platforms (product photography). The lighting power allows for photography ranging from close-ups (portraits, details) to wide shots (busts, full figures). When working with inanimate objects, the frame is only limited by the width of the background. The kit can also be used for filming (live, streaming, remote learning).
The home photography studio kit enables you to take various types of photos:
- Document photos (IDs, passports, school IDs, biometric photos)
- Portrait photos (for documents, makeup, artistic portraits)
- Product photography (catalogs, websites, online stores, sales platforms)
- Photos for Allegro listings (auctions, buy now, miniatures)

Background Hanging Kit
The background hanging kit consists of a simple setup of two CGLS-816B studio tripods and a foldable, two-section crossbar stretched between them. The kit allows you to hang popular photographic backdrops up to 165 cm wide. With a load capacity of 5 kg, the kit can accommodate cardboard, vinyl, or fabric backgrounds without limitations. The height at which the background is suspended ranges from 83 cm to 205 cm. The bar is attached to the tripods using butterfly screws, preventing it from lifting when raising the backdrop upwards. Unrolling the backdrop from its roll is blocked by inserting two clamps (frogs) included with the kit.

White Background
This lightweight and economical photographic background, made of polypropylene fabric, offers high durability and resistance to studio conditions such as spills, creases, or tears. The cardboard roll protects against creases during transportation or storage. Any potential creases can be easily removed by steaming the backdrop or wetting it down.
The width and length of the fabric on the roll are sufficient for creating a seamless background (cyclorama) to photograph a full figure. The perforated texture of the backdrop minimizes reflections from strong light sources.
Note regarding the material's texture - those who encounter polypropylene photographic backdrops for the first time may worry that the texture will be visible in photos. In real-life conditions, the object remains approximately 50 cm away from the background, and with a shallow depth of field, the backdrop's texture becomes blurred.

Lighting Kit
The lighting used in this model is the most popular continuous light source currently - a pair of four-bulb lamps with softbox fixtures on lighting stands. The total lighting power allows you to work with models within the frame defined by the background. When the lamps are symmetrically positioned relative to the lens axis, they mutually compensate for shadows, resulting in a very soft distribution of light and eliminating potential reflections.
The light source consists of 8 powerful photographic fluorescent tubes with a standard color temperature of 5500K placed in two four-bulb fixtures. Each lamp has an option to turn off a pair of bulbs, allowing for rough adjustment of the lighting power on set. The position of the softboxes can be adjusted (height, tilt, rotation)
The lamps are powerful enough to illuminate standing figures and perform well in portrait photography.

CineGEN® — studio equipment designed by practitioners
CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.
The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.
How we work
Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.
Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
What you'll find under the CineGEN® brand
Continuous lighting (FlatLight™, Lumifi™, ReLed™, Ensö™ panels with CRI >95), Ignitix™ photographic bulbs, softboxes and light modifiers, lighting, photo and video stands and tripods (including the Jupiter™ series), and home studio kits.
What we stand behind
CineGEN® is a trademark protected at the Patent Office of the Republic of Poland (application Z.574925, rights held by Digishots Sp. z o.o.).
Warranty service and spare parts are handled at our facility in Janki — no shipping your gear "back to the manufacturer".
You can see the equipment in person at our location in Janki (ul. Poniatowskiego 17), and you'll find tests and tutorials on the digishots.pl blog and the CineGEN YouTube channel.
