An excellent kit for beginners and intermediate photographers.
The basis for building a Home Photography Studio is the background hanging frame along with the basic photographic background. The white color of the background allows photography in bright tones (high-key), providing perfect conditions for portrait, fashion, and product photography. The included continuous lighting enables constant preview of achieved results on camera (phone) before releasing the shutter. This is the simplest possible studio configuration, ideal for beginners and intermediate photographers.
A simple set of studio accessories that allows you to mount a photographic background in home or office conditions. The studio stand with a 10mm thread and butterfly keeps the central transverse mounting bar, creating a frame for the background. The included background on a cardboard tube unfolds from the floor towards the bar and is secured using studio clips (frogs).
The kit works well in portrait, fashion, and product photography. The width of the background allows you to photograph an entire human silhouette. Placing the full standing figure in the frame is possible (the left and right margins next to the background are filled with white color in graphic editing programs). The central mounting used in the set works great for small rooms.
The lighting used in the kit is classic studio continuous lighting - single-bulb softbox lamps on lighting stands. Softboxes are equipped with LED bulbs from the Ignitix™ series with standardized parameters (color temperature 5500K and color rendering index CRI >90). Softboxes are a basic element of a photographic studio. They soften tonal transitions between light and shadow. Light is evenly distributed inside the softbox and maintains equal power across the entire diffuser surface. The outside of the softbox is matte black, ensuring it doesn't reflect light from other lamps. Folding and unfolding is exceptionally simple, and the folded softbox takes up little space. The high-quality materials used in the softbox guarantee trouble-free operation for years.
In Keylights™ kits, a minimum of 2 lamps are used due to mutual shadow compensation - one lamp serves as the main light source, while the other acts as fill light. The lamps are placed on adjustable lighting stands with a height of 200 cm, allowing for easy adjustment of lighting to current needs.
A simple, two-part bar mounted on the central opening used for hanging backgrounds with studio stands featuring a threaded shaft with a diameter of 10mm. The sections of the bar connect to each other via a click mechanism. Backgrounds are attached to the bar using any type of studio clamps (clips, frogs, vices, etc.). The bar's diameter is 2.2 cm. It is designed for mounting fabric, cardboard, or plastic backgrounds. The maximum load capacity of the bar is 2 kg.
A lightweight and economical photographic background made of polypropylene fabric that provides high durability and resistance to studio conditions - spills, creases, tears. The cardboard roll protects against creases during transport or storage. Potential creases can be easily removed by steaming or wetting the background.
The width and length of the fabric on the roll is sufficient to create a seamless (cyclorama) background for photographing silhouettes. The perforated texture of the background minimizes reflections from strong light sources.

Note regarding the material texture - those who are new to polypropylene photographic backgrounds may worry that the background's texture will be visible in photos. In real conditions, the object remains approximately 50 cm away from the background, which, combined with shallow depth of field, causes the background texture to become blurred. Using an aperture below 8 ensures that the background structure is invisible.
The kit includes two solid universal clips that work well for holding, weighing down backgrounds or other studio applications.

CineGEN® is a Polish studio equipment brand we created in 2011 in Janki near Warsaw. We don't have 35 years of tradition or offices on two continents — what we do have is around 40,000 orders with CineGEN® products fulfilled every year and 15 years of working with light, which taught us what actually works in a studio.
The brand was born for a simple reason: selling other people's equipment, we too often had to explain flaws we had no control over. We preferred taking responsibility to making excuses — so we started building our own.
Specifications and part of the designs are created in Poland; manufacturing takes place in China, under our supervision. We say this openly, because that's how studio equipment is made all over the world today. The difference lies in who sets the requirements and who answers for the result: every batch arrives at our warehouse in Janki, where we inspect it, and before a product enters our catalogue, we work with it ourselves — on packshots, portraits and video shoots.
Our product descriptions state real parameters and real limitations. A 200 PLN lamp won't replace a 2,000 PLN kit — and we won't pretend otherwise.
